Future of Collectibles

While people have always been interested in collecting, in recent years the market has skyrocketed, mainly targeting kids from the 80's, 90's, and 00's. That trend is even present in the games, movies, and TV shows that are re-released, rebooted, sequeled, and even prequeled. These children are now adults and they have money to burn. Hey, I'm not saying this as a bad thing, but it's the targeted truth. There are many varying levels of collector, from the beginner, to the hardcore. My income is limited with a family, so I only pick the best of the best, from my favorite pop culture items. Would I love to have a $300 Sideshow collectible statue adorning my shelf? Hell yes! Do I want the Limited Edition of every game that releases? Sign me up! To some, that is their passion, and what they save for. I like to spread my moola around, to try and get a little bit of everything. The newest trend, which expands beyond entertainment, is the "Mystery Box". Some people like them, and some don't. Personally, I love them! First of all, I love a good mystery and surprise. Second, the items usually include more than one specific area. I have looked into many of them, but settled on Loot Crate exclusively, at the moment. There are some months I'm not impressed, but others, I am smiling from ear to ear. There is so much out there in the world of collectibles, that you can stumble across something new every day! For me, that is a thrill. One of our goals is to highlight some of the really cool items in entertainment, so hold onto your wallets! This could be an expensive ride...
